EvoKey participated in the 10th round of the Aqaba Conference 2025, under the theme of Bridging Insurance Future with Technology, which took place between the 11th and 14th of May, 2025. The conference focused on the most recent insurance developments globally, with special attention to technology and automation issues in the sector.

Held and organized by the Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF) and the Organizing Committee, the conference served as a hub for specialists from the tech industry and professionals from international and regional insurance companies, such as NatHealth, the Middle East Insurance Company, and the Jordan Association for Medical Insurance—just to mention a few. The Noor Portal: EvoKey’s Role in Taawon’s Orphan Care Platform

The Noor Portal, an orphans management system, was launched in November 2024 by the non-profit, civic organization Taawon. The portal’s most recent implementations and rollouts, expanding over the past seven months, were in collaboration with EvoKey, a tech solutions company based in Jordan.

The Noor Portal, operating under the umbrella of the Noor Orphan Care Program by Taawon, was initiated in response to the most recent war on Gaza, following the events of 7th October, in aims of providing care and aid for 20.000 orphaned children.

The program facilitates services tailored to humanitarian needs, including education, health, protection and psychosocial support, and social care. The specific needs of each orphan are identified using the up-to-date data provided by the Noor Program, which has been collected and reviewed since December 2023.

EvoKey’s dedicated IT team has implemented all technical requirements to ensure the smooth functioning of the portal, in addition to adding more components to the system progressively. Considering the different types of users, the portal is optimized so that each administrator, partner, donor, sponsor, and guardian can use it easily and efficiently to have various processes completed.

The Noor Portal, initiated by Taawon and further developed by EvoKey, conveys the collective responsibility of caring for Gaza’s orphans. Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy” seeks collaboration with the Palestinian delegation to enhance economic relations

EvoKey participated in the Dubai conference, on June 4, 2023. The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber, conducted fruitful discussions today with the Palestinian delegation with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the field of digital economy and strengthening bilateral relations. The delegation included senior executives from the Palestine Bank Group and Intersect Incubator, in addition to 21 representatives from startup companies including Evokey. This meeting marks the first of its kind between Dubai, Palestine, and Jordan, with the aim of enhancing business opportunities and economic partnerships.

The Palestinian trade mission’s agenda included holding 237 bilateral meetings with Dubai companies, at an average of ten meetings per person, a record number that reflects the importance of meetings in achieving common goals, interests, and relationship development.

Hashem Al-Shawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestine Bank Group, led the Palestinian delegation, which also included Linda Tarazi, a member of the Board of Directors, Kamel Al-Husseini, Director of Relationship and Strategic Cooperation Management, and Rabea Al-Rabi, CEO of Intersect Incubator for Entrepreneurship. Representatives from 21 Palestinian and Jordanian startup companies also participated, eager to visit Dubai to learn about the thriving digital economy in the Middle East region and explore trade cooperation opportunities.

Lootah briefed the Palestinian and Jordanian delegations on the efforts of the emirate to attract 30 unicorn companies by 2033 and affirmed that Dubai’s startup ecosystem has contributed to the success of numerous unicorn companies over the past twenty years.

In another context, Hashem Al-Shawa delivered a speech in which he affirmed the role of the Palestine Bank and the importance of partnering with the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. He pointed out that Palestinian and Jordanian startups are seeking expansion in the region, and Dubai serves as the natural platform for these companies to establish a presence and develop their businesses.

This was followed by an open dialogue where representatives of Palestinian and Jordanian startup companies asked questions and received answers. The discussions covered a wide range of sectors, such as transportation, education, construction, engineering, real estate, energy, software solutions, e-commerce, and retail, enterprise resource planning solutions, artificial intelligence and financial solutions, and agriculture.

During the visit, the delegation members became acquainted with the business environment in Dubai, starting from investment opportunities to facilitating business establishment procedures. They also reviewed the reality of small and medium-sized enterprises in the city, which constitute the majority of companies in Dubai, contribute significantly to the gross domestic product, and employ a large workforce.

The National Jordanian Committee for Women’s Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Intaj, and GIZ, held an awareness session for young men and women in the information and communications technology sector with the participation of Evokey. The session took place on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the University of Jordan.

At the beginning of the session, Mrs. Nesreen Al-Sayyid, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Jordanian National Committee for Women’s Affairs, delivered a welcoming speech. Mrs. Rawan Naser, the Executive Director of Evokey Company and CEO of both Motor Wheels and Evokey, was among the speakers at the session.

Mrs. Rawan Naser began her speech by introducing herself and presenting her professional career, where she owns two startups (Evokey and Motor Wheels).

She also discussed the challenges she faced in her life and talked about the available opportunities. She offered advice to young men and women on how to seize opportunities and develop themselves in terms of professional success and supporting women.

The conference covered several important topics, including achieving gender equality in the workplace.
